Now that you know your are in menopause and are experiencing hot flashes and the many other symptoms, their is one that bothers you the most. It is very disturbing too! It is your sleep. I know from my experience this was a bad one that I had to tackle.

Let me fill you in with a little bit of information pertaining to sleep and menopause. There are approximately 75 percent of menopausal women who experience hot flashes, which is a condition that can last for some time five years. When you go through menopause your lifestyle changes dramatically. Your hormones estrogen and progesterone are lost. This causes an imbalance in your sleep pattern and the other symptoms that come with menopause.

There are some basic but important questions for you to answer and to know just how much you know about sleep and menopause. This for example is a question for you to have an answer to: how can I treat my sleep problems related to menopause? Another one is: What alternative treatments are available to treat hot flashes? Knowing the answers to these questions are key to you being able to control your menopause and hot flashes to live a happy and healthy productive lifestyle.
