Menopause-What’s your worst experience with Night Sweats?

Every woman who has been or went through the “change of life” has had some terrible experiences with menopause and hot flashes. Each woman will have different affect with the various symptoms that come with menopause.
My first and bad experience I had with night sweats in the beginning was scary! It tripped me out! As I have told you in my story that I didn’t have a clue as to what I going through and what was going on with my body.

When I started really developing the menopause symptoms real bad the experience was no joke!
What happened to me with my Night Sweats?
I went to bed as I did normally. But of course it wasn’t real normal because I would have to prepare myself for bed. That is explained in great detail when you read my story. However, I kind of got use to waking up through the night and putting on clean dry clothes to sleep in. But this particular night I was awaken from being so cold; yes it was winter time but my room was warm. Needless to say I was so cold because everything I had on was soaking wet. I mean real WET! Then I discovered that not only the side of the bed I was sleeping on was WET but the whole entire bed was WET
It freaked me out! I couldn’t figure out why my bed was so wet and what happened. I had not only changed all of my clothes but I had to change my linen too. I was so scared to the point of crying and becoming very emotional about.

What did I do next?
I had an appointment to see my doctor. That was when I knew I had an high severity level of menopause and night sweats. WOW! Just hearing the doctor explain to me what was going on blew me away!  So he suggested that I get on a real good product.
I was on my mission to seek out a good product that was going to work to cut down the terrible night sweats.
My advice and suggestion to you concerning your night sweats would be to tell your doctor everything about what you deal with at night when you go to bed. Trust me from there he or she will be able to give your proper information and treatment.
I hope my story has helped you find a way to cope with your night sweats. If so I encourage you to leave a comment, question or suggestion below this post.
Thank you for reading and visiting.

Male Menopause-Do Men have Night Sweats?

First let’s define what male menopause is. It is something that men have been experiencing for years but it was something that was rarely expressed. It has always been established as something that only women went through. However, that is not true. It involves a hormonal, mental and chemical change during the ages of 40 and 55.

More recently, men have been speaking out about the symptoms that come with menopause to raise the awareness to men and women.
Male menopause comes with some of the same symptoms that women experience such as night sweats. Because of that the answer is yes. But to explain the night sweats in men are considered to be severe hot flashes that will take place in the night. They will do the same form of interruption of sleep just as it does with women.
They are caused by the malfunctioning hypothalamus (your temperature system in the brain). There are other causes for men having night sweats with male menopause.
·         Low Testosterone Level
·         High Cortisol (Stress)
·         Unhealthy Diet
·         Poor Fitness
To gain the control with your male menopause night sweats, there are solutions that can help. First it is important that you speak with your medical provider and make him/her aware of all the symptoms that you are having. Then it can be suggested that you put your lifestyle in check by correcting your diet, get a proper exercise program, and avoid stressful situations.
Making these changes will help you to be able to balance your hormone levels. This is only a start.

Menopause and Hot Flashes-What do I look out for with menopause?

Do I know what is going on with me with my menopause?

When a woman is approaching menopause she can be clueless as to know to to expect, recognize or even have an ideal of what is going on with her. I know from my experience in my early stages of menopause I did not know anything as far as what was going on with my body. (Click here to read my story) I did begin to realize that my body was changing in ways that were different. My mood and body was altering because of the lost of hormones and the different chemicals my mind needed to function properly.

I will provide for you the key symptoms to look out for with menopause.

1. Hot Flashes, Cold Flashes - The body may flush red in the face and chest, or it may just be an overwhelming sense of heat. Conversely, the body may feel stone cold and you may shiver. Some will alternate between the two as the body is unable to correct its sense of temperature. These two symptoms are said to be felt by 75% of everyone who goes through menopause.
2. Night Sweats - Night sweats can best be defined like having hot flashes at night. The body will sweat and feel extremely warm. You may have nightmares from the sleep disturbance. If nothing else the lack of sleep will manifest to fatigue and higher stress levels. Night sweats can have a lasting effect on you just for the sleep disturbance factor alone.
3. Menstrual Irregularities - There doesn't have to be a complete stop of menses all at once, they may become more frequent first, or more sporadic. There may be spotting or other irregularities to the woman. There may be more cramping than normal while your body's hormones are lessening.

4. Loss of Sex Drive - The flux of hormones in the body also can trigger a loss of a women's libido. This also has to do with the one other symptom of menopause, the vaginal dryness. The vaginal dryness can make any sexual penetration uncomfortable and the shift of hormones may make you lose your want of sex for a time period.

Those four symptoms of menopause are the ones that are said to be the most irritating to women. While some of these many get relief through natural remedies for menopause or through hormone replacement therapy, there are those that will just deal with them without any remedy at all. Some women may even be experiencing these while continuing to have their periods and will be unaware that they may be in early stages of menopause.
.
If ever in doubt, check with your healthcare provider.Knowing what to look out for will help you in gaining control with your symptoms. With rewarding results.
